This little skull was an experimental sculpt made entirely of paper pulp. He is currently looking for a new home.

So we had the party on the 25th in town, and had hauled all the halloween decor over there. Then quickly took it all down and brought it home. I set everything back up on the 31st and took it all down again by 11pm that night. It rained, hard… I already posted a few [...] Something I started last January and worked at a bit today while waiting for other projects to dry…. This project began with a polyurethane skull, but I cut it and carved at it so much I might as well not have used it to begin with. Pulp mache base and some Paperclay on the main [...] Another prop I want to bring with me this weekend so I finished her this afternoon… I had sculpted her face last year before Halloween, and then she sat in the basement… bald, grumpy, and only half a body… collecting dust for MONTHS. Originally I thought I might make 3 of these hags, and this one [...] Earlier this year I met Wes Bourn (who makes some pretty amazing animated props!) and I bought one of his radio controlled zombie crawlers. I sculpted a head for it recently. I will make it some hands later today as I want to take it to a local Halloween gathering this weekend. Before Halloween I’ll probably [...] Hemlock Dench. Mr. Hemlock Dench is my cemetery grounds keeper or caretaker. Mr. Dench was my first project for 2007. This was the first full bodied prop I attempted. He is made almost entirely of recycled materials. [...] |
