This past weekend I went to the Halloween in August event at the Fort Langley campground for FrightfestBC’s gathering and annual haunt.
Friday we set up walls and began decorating and by Saturday afternoon we had accomplished a full haunt.
Its a one night haunt and a lot of work, but it’s a great way for us to see different haunters ideas and learn new techniques. We are all busy in October doing our own haunts, parties and yards for Halloween so the FFBC Halloween in August haunt is a great opportunity for each of us to see each others creations and ideas put to use in a haunt.

Yep! Grant and Dyanna were both there. You can see pictures of almost everyone who was there in my Flickr photos. (There is a link in the post) One set of pics just has the haunt pictures, the other has everything from the weekend.

Hey Deadspider. GREAT pics!!! You guys do awesome work! I wish we had something like that hear in Ontario – sounds like a great idea. I’ll run it by the Ontario Haunters Club and see if we can set something up for next year. You can never get around to see everybody’s haunt as you’re always to busy on your own.
I’m going to be expanding the Haunted Calendar this year to include all of Canada (last year it was just Haunted Ontario). You should definitely submit some of these pics – it would be an honour to include them!
